Darn skippy. I've been researching how to honor such a thing and I have seen other businesses ask for a scanned & email of picture ID for proof.

PM me about the product you want, and how to show proof. Some of the vets on this forum can already attest to getting a discount when I figured out they were a vet (be it their email, address etc).

The discount will vary per product, unfortunately some products give me such a tiny profit margin, a large discount cannot be flatly applied to all.

I joined the Navy before 9/11 being both family tradition and typical of my social economic class. As an electrician in the Navy, I learned heaps of engineering, theory and real world application (plus heavy duty build ethic) that I apply now to modding/development.

With a little over one year left in active duty, 9/11 happened. I was forward-deployed so it was 3a.m for me, and I was livid that I was not a combat troop and despised watching CNN when showing combat actions while I was 'safe' on a ship.

With my contract over, at the time there was no such thing as Navy Coastal Warfare in the active duty side, so I went into the reserves were I became a Plank Owner of a new Naval Coastal Warfare squadron (and once again when Naval Coastal Warfare changed to Maritime Expeditionary Warfare) and boat division, under the NECC chain of command, the same chain of command over the Navy SEALs, OED and Seabees and have since been in a combat deployment in support of OIF. In hindsight I probably should have cross-rated to HM and served as a FMF with a Marine infantry unit as that still was not satisfying.

Rapping up what can go on and on LOL, I know the bull, I know the sacrifice, I know the comradery, and the least I can do besides being shoulder and shoulder with you when mobilized, in the sh*t, is extend a discount.
